A Controversial Victory
The road to victory was not without controversy. Initially, there was a heated debate over Swanepoel’s final result, with reports of a disqualification. However, after careful review, justice prevailed, and her disqualification was overturned, rightfully awarding her the well-deserved Gold Medal in the Women’s 150m Individual Medley SM4.
