South African Hockey is delighted to announce the appointment of Sihle Ntuli as the Head Coach of the South African Men’s Hockey Team. This marks a new chapter for the national team, as Sihle brings a wealth of experience, vision, and leadership to the role.
Sihle is no stranger to the national hockey setup. A former Head Coach of the SA U21 Men’s team, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to nurture talent and achieve results at the highest level. He has been an integral part of the senior team’s journey, serving on the coaching staff for both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
As Head Coach, Sihle will guide the team through an exciting and challenging calendar year, with the prestigious Nations Cup and the African Cup of Nations on the horizon. The latter is of particular significance, as it serves as a qualifier for the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, a key milestone for the team’s ambitions.
In addition to Sihle’s appointment, South African Hockey is pleased to announce the support staff for the SA Men’s Hockey Team. The team will benefit from the expertise of a highly skilled and dedicated group, whose contributions will be integral to their success. A full list of the support staff is provided below.
