In the Men’s 200m, Sinesipho Dambile finished a strong second, clocking 20.10 seconds behind American Kenny Bednarek, who won in 19.87 seconds, which is one of the fastest times this season. Fellow South African Mthi Mthimkulu finished fifth in the same race with a time of 20.78 seconds.

- Prague, Czechia: At the Josef Odlozil Memorial, Douw Smit claimed victory in the Men’s Javelin with a top throw of 83.09m, beating local favorite Martin Konečný. On the track, Sabelo Dhlamini finished second in the Men’s 400m Hurdles with a time of 49.59 seconds, finishing behind Jamaica’s Assinie Wilson.
- Moscow, Russia: At the Znamensky Memorial, Gift Leotlela led a solid South African showing in the Men’s 100m, winning the final in 10.02 seconds.
